What is Yagami Ryu Shibari?

Shibari is a Japanese art of tying applicable as a way to communicate on a primal level, without words, between partners. Specially treated ropes are used for the purpose, with the help of which the partners communicate with each other and get to know each other on a deeper level. Yagami Ryu is a Shibari style.

What is specific about Yagami Ryu?

In addition to tying technique and rope skills, emphasis is placed on:

  • the study of the biomechanics of the body;
  • body control capabilities;
  • ways to achieve sexual arousal and pleasure in the tying process;
  • ways of creating associations between the act of tying and its sexual equivalent.

Who is the instructor at Shibari Center?

The instructor is Ludvig Rigger. He is certified by the Japanese master Ren Yagami. There are currently only three certified instructors in Europe.

What are the prerequisites for advancing in shibari?

Good training and regular practice in a cozy environment. All this is available at Shibari Center.

What is the purpose of these skills?

Everything we learn is applicable to communication at the primary level between partners. Shibari training strengthens the trust between partners and enriches them with new knowledge and skills that cover both the purely physical sensation and the study of emotional, psychological, and other aspects revealed in the process of tying.

I have no ropes. Can I buy from you?
